Just saying: Chivalry isn’t dead, and these things don’t add up to a guy being chivalrous. Chivalry is defined as “the sum of the ideal qualifications of a knight, including courtesy, generosity, valor, and dexterity in arms”.
Also, there are guys who would totally do these things for you. But I can guarantee that unless you were already attracted to him in some way, if a guy did these things for you, you’d think that they were probably coming on a little strong. You’d probably think he was weird or something.
Be more specific with the things you want. You want your boyfriend or the guy you’re crushing on to do these things for you. You don’t want just anyone to do it.
And if just anyone did it for you, then tell them straight up that you’re not into it. It would be a courtesy to the guy who made an ass of himself for you.
When chivalry existed… women barely had rights. I thought they wanted equality?
