Do you think Michael Kors would care if I use his symbol?
Tuesday, I received this early Thanksgiving gift. Not that you receive gifts on Thanksgiving… lol But a student brought this in. Cute
After work on Tuesday, I grabbed some pizza with my sister. Pizza is too good. MAN… it sucks that food makes you gain weight. lol
On Wednesday, I spent the day running errands and recording new tracks! I take forever to make a record. Sorry, if you’re actually waiting. Back when I was pumping out videos and mixtapes, 99% of my time was devoted to music. I have so many things going on right now… which is how I wanted it. But I’m definitely working on it!
THEN CAME THURSDAY!!! My favorite holiday! Christmas is probably the most exciting and pretty time of the year. BUT I absolutely LOVE Thanksgiving! The food with my family and Stacey’s family. Then shopping with Stacey for Black Friday. It’s just an awesome weekend. This is my 6th Thanksgiving with Stacey and I’ve loved all of them. Well, there was a minor road bump last year when someone ran into my car… but I’m over it. LOL ENJOY THE FOOD PICS! :)
ALSO! I love Stacey’s Red Velvet Cake! I had one slice and it was basically gone later that day when we returned back home lol
The shopping is always fun! I got everything I was trying to get. Some jeans, white shirts, blu rays, vacuum, and this seahawks hat. And yes, I wrote the correctly… VACUUM! I needed two. hahahaha We shopped at the Outlet Mall, Southcenter, and Best Buy! Nothing too crazy.
The following day, my mom made some fried rice from left over food! SO BOMBBBBBBBBB!
Then we hopped over to the Supermall. Well, it’s now called The Outlet Collections. All the malls have different names… LOL We picked up some stuff we needed around the house. Mainly, soap, lotion, shampoo. I’m boring.. I KNOW! hahahah But I love my life. I don’t like drama at all. I was craving cinnamon rolls, so we split one from Cinnabon!
Then we drove over to Ballard to hang out with Stacey’s cousins. Her cousin, Mikko was visiting from SF! He moved down a few months ago cause of his job. Proud of the dude! He worked hard and I’m glad to see moving up in the world. He deserves it! Fun times!
Then we walked over to D’Ambrosio and we split some Biscotti gelato LOL
On Saturday, we watched “Frozen”!!!!! Disney is amazing! I love their movies so much. I enjoyed it a lot. I don’t like doing spoilers so go watch it on your own! :)
There was a good crowd for it!
Now, walking out of the theaters… as I was about to write how much I love the movie. I found out the Paul Walker died. I was very sad about it. I grew up watching his movies. I started to reminisce about his career. How my sister and I would watch “Meet the Deedles” when we were kids. How I went with my friends from middle school to watch “She’s All That”… How my best friend and I went down to Tacoma to watch “2 Fast 2 Furious” on a failed double date. How my friends and I would go watch the Fast and Furious series for midnight releases.
Then I started to think about his daughter, friends, and family. I know ppl die everyday. But not all of them have an impact on others lives. It’s not more or less sad, just different. Any age is too young to die. RIP Paul Walker. Thank you for contributions to society and my life.
Hope everyone had a great weekend! Have a great week, everyone…
On Wednesday, my mom made some bomb pork bulgogi… Pictures do not provide justice. I know it’s biased but she makes the best Korean food. And that’s not a debate lol
Thursday, I met up with Jason after work for some food and beer. We met up at “Rock Bottom” in Bellevue. It was good times catching up and talking about football. We also went to Applebees afterwards to drink more… hahaha I got the 2AM burger after Jason brought it up… I like their White Ale a lot.
I can never sleep in when I drink. I don’t know why… it’s how I am though. The next morning, I went with my folks to the dog park. I haven’t been to the dog park in a while and it’s always fun to see Ari play with other dogs. He wanted to drive us lol
Afterwards, we had some teriyaki together. I don’t know what it is… but I love a good teriyaki! HAHAHA if you’re in the Kent area, check out Ichi 2!

I work later in the evening. After work, Stacey and I hopped over to the theaters to watch “Catching Fire”!!!! We’ve been super excited and the movie did not disappoint!!!! So excited for the final part of the trilogy!!!!! I didn’t get to eat dinner before we went to the theaters, so Stacey grabbed me some Chipotle while I waited in line! SO GOOOOOOOD!
The next morning, we went up to the U-District and ate at Portage Bay! It’s one of our favorite spots to eat breakfast and they have Stacey’s favorite french toast! The food is really good and they’re always packed. Need to step up your food game though and learn how to minimize that wait! I got the Chorizo Migas!!!
4130 Roosevelt Way NE
Seattle, WA 98105
After breakfast, we went over to U. Village and inadvertently shopped… LOL We were planning our Black Friday schedule and we saw stuff we liked at good deals. We also did the same thing over at Bellevue Square lol Anyways…. had a lot of fun though!
Have I ever mentioned that Stacey’s shoe game is on point? It’s pretty diverse too. It ranges from Christian Louboutins, Jimmy Choos, Prada, Chanel, Jordans, Air Max 95s, etc… She has some heat. She wore her Chanel boots on Saturday though. FIREEEEEE
I wore some 5’s. Stacey got them for as a birthday gift…. almost 4 years ago. LOL First time wearing them. Sneakerhead issues
It’s hard to resist big mirrors when I’m with Stacey… LOL
We went back to the house after grocery shopping at Whole Foods to catch the Pacquiao fight! We grabbed some Red Robin on the way home though! I keep it official with the mushroom burger! TOOOOO LEGIT!
Then streamed the fight like a G! lol Jessica Sanchez killed the national anthem! Michael Buffer is a legend! And Manny whooped Rios’ ass. lol There’s only one fight that the boxing fans want to watch… and that’s Mayweather Vs. Pacquiao. I don’t care if ppl say Floyd would win or blah blah blah… the fact or the matter is that Manny is the closest there is to Floyd… so why Floyd fighting anyone else? Doesn’t make sense…
The streams are legit lol Kind of… Next morning, I catch Ari like this… too adorable
We went over to Southcenter to check out some stuff and eat. We got Filipino food at first, but Stacey’s meal was terrible. So, I told her not to eat and I get her this noodle dish she likes at a Vietnamese spot in the food court. I liked mine though.
Then later for dinner, Stacey made salmon to go along with Garlic Brown Rice with Peas and Smoked Gouda Pasta Salad (That we got from Whole Fods)!!!
Hope everyone had a great weekend! Have a great week, everyone!
On Wednesday, I got to check up with the homie, Jessica Hu! I haven’t seen her in a long time so it was awesome to catch up with her. I scooped her up at her new spot in Queen Anne. Her best friend and roommate also came out with us to this spot in Greenlake. I forget what the place was called. Not that memorable… lol We also hung out with Fish when we got to the spot. He was spinning at the bar. It’s crazy how fast time flies. I met Jess via Anna Quach cause I wanted a dancer for my first music video. Jess and I have been cool ever since. She’s not only a talented dancer, but a great person. Follow her on social media @jess2sick….
You ever have those signs that it’s going to be a great day? For me, one of those signals are when the gas pump automatically stops itself perfectly on it’s own… lol
So, I knew Friday was going to be a good day… and it sure was! After I picked up Stacey, we hopped over to Paseo in Fremont! Probably one of the most delicious things you can ever taste. Their “Carribbean Roast” was the second best sandwich on a Food Network show. I forget which one. But #1 was a burger, so that don’t count. It’s delicious. The perfect pork, the grilled onions, the aioli, the bread (from Macrina), etc… just PERFECTION!
4225 Fremont Ave N
Seattle, WA 98103
On the way to Paseo, Stacey saw a gelato place and immediately looked it up on Yelp. It had great ratings so we went to it afterwards for dessert. You know the Dessert Queen needs her fix. The spot was awesome! I got an egg nog and dutch choclate gelato. Stacey got the pistacchio and egg nog gelato!
3415 Fremont Ave N
Seattle, WA 98103
Afterwards, we went over to Best Buy and copped some Chrismukkah… I’ll explain when it gets closer to the holidays!!! Then we went over to Whole Foods to buy some beverages… They had some Apple Cider samples and they were DELICIOUS! So, we bought a gallon… lol Local Washington Apples and no added sugar!!!
I know it says “half gallon”… we bought two of them! I don’t know why, but buying two “half gallon” was cheaper than buying a gallon… :) OH! And I found one of these at Winco! Shout out to Diddy!
On Sunday, Stacey made some breakfast sandwiches before the Seahawks game! She took all the ingridients that I LOVE! She bought croissants from The French Bakery in Bellevue… I LOVE THEIR CROISSANTS! Then she got Turkey Bacon, Avocado, and made grilled onions! IT WAS AMAZING!!!!!
We had a couple of hours to kill before the game, so we went out. Stacey washed her car at Brown Bear. We got some maple bars from one of my favorite spots, Happy Doughnuts. Then we got bubble tea from our favorite milk tea spot, Boba Express! :) With all that awesomeness… of course the Seahawks would win. OHHHH and Percy Harvin played! Watch out NFL… we’re special!
Shout out to my best friend, Jason for getting me on these chips. They are delicious. Oh and thanks to Stacey for buying it for me!!!
Around lunch time (ish)… my mom made some beef and vegetable stir fry… BOMBBBBBBB
And during Sunday Night Football, Stacey made some delicious jambalaya!!! What a great weekend!
Hope everyone had a great weekend! Have a great weekend, everyone!
After a long week, I was ready for our mini-trip to Canada! After I was done with work on Thursday, I got a haircut then headed over to Stacey’s. She lives closer to the border so I slept over at her place.
We got up early on Friday, grabbed some coffee, pumped some gas, then headed off to Vancouver! We arrived earlier than I expected… but that was the point of leaving early. I wanted to avoid traffic. We had breakfast at Scoozi’s! I got the smoke salmon eggs benedict and it was DELICIOUS! Stacey’s french toast was okay… so I felt a bit bad cause my food was really good. Her apple cider was delicious though!
445 Howe St
Vancouver, BC V6C 2X6, Canada
We had about 30 minutes to kill before this gelato spot that Stacey really wanted to try was open. So, we walked down towards the convention center. We dropped by this chocolate place and they had some DELICIOUS hot chocolate! We also grabbed some macarons and they gave us free chocolate covered strawberries! They were bomb as well! The spot was called “Leonidas”! Delicious chocolate!
Vancouver has this awesome Chevron the water. I know I’ll never use it… but it’s fun to look at cause it’s so peculiar… hahaha
Then we went to Bella Gelateria! Stacey researched it and they’ve won contests in Italy for their gelato! Their flavors are NO JOKE! The owner educated us for a good 30 minutes and it was pretty awesome. He told us the differences of gelato and ice cream. And basically, why his gelato is awesome… HAHAHA But yeahhhh, the flavors are crazy and delicious! My favorite flavor was a flavor I didn’t even get cause I found out about it after I got mine… it’s this Filipino flavor “Buko Pandan”…. DELICIOUS!
1001 W Cordova St
Vancouver, BC V6C 0B7, Canada
Then we shopped for the next 5 hours… hahahaha Vancouver is pretty legit for shopping. ESPECIALLY for guys. I’ll explain more later. Their top man / topshop is NO joke… The biggest in North America…. Ridiculous. I get this urge to take a photo of us when I see big mirrors… lol
Saw these pigeons outside the shopping center and I wanted to run through the pile… but I’m afraid they’ll take a dump on us… LOL
So… we went to “Dipt”… a streetwear store and I’ve been there multiple times. I’ve even met Talib Kweli there… it was pretty awesome. But yeahhh, I was looking at stuff and I see the Gary Payton sneakers. They didn’t have my size. THENNNNN I see the “Laney’s”… and they had my size… WOWWWWWWW The Laney’s are one of those sneakers that I’ve wanted for a LONG timeeeee. I gave up on most Jordan’s cause there’s so hard to get at a reasonable price. But DAMNNNN! Stacey bought it for me as an early birthday gift. She always want me to have whatever I want. Sigh… that’s a good sigh! LOL I always say I’m retired butttttt how can you deny this?! SO SEXY!
Then I ran into this guy…
Shout out to Diva! This is the homie, Neil. I’ve known Neil for a few years and he’s a real good dude. He’s let me stay at his spot so many times and he’s just a genuinely kind person. I didn’t have much time to see anyone on this trip cause I kind of just wanted to relax and chill… but I had to see this guy!
Then we went to eat at “Guu with Garlic”!!!!! One of my favorite restaurants in Vancouver…. PERIOD! It’s a Japanese Tapas restaurant on Robson. Stacey’s cousins introduced us to the restaurant a while back and we’ve loved it since. We’ve showed this spot to so many friends… I’ve lost count. lol But we ordered a bunch of food! SO GOOOOD! Aloe Sake Mojito, Yaki Udon, Scallop/Spicy Mayo pizza on Naan bread, Pork Tenderloin Tempura, Saba Grill!!!!! They are all so DELICIOUS!
Guu with Garlic

Then we walked over to “Nero Belgian Waffle Bar”… OH MAN! One of the best waffle desserts that I’ve ever had. FREAKING AMAZING! We got the “bresilienne” aka Vanilla ice cream, whipped cream, hazelnut crumble, caramel sauce… aka heaven in your mouth
Nero Belgian Waffle Bar
1703 Robson St
Vancouver, BC V6G 1C8, Canada
Then we headed back to the hotel and watched the food network! The next morning, we met up with Neil to watch Thor 2 pretty early. I REALLY enjoyed the movie! Man, Marvel’s got me hooked. I feel that we’re living in a really good time and we’re taking it for granted. I feel fortunate to be going through this Avengers era, Christopher Nolan’s Dark Knight era, Fast and Furious era, the X-Men series era, Harry Potter era… etc… The movie theaters in Van are so dope too! They have so many options for snacks and food! ALSO! They have this app you can download to play a game on the screen. Winners get free popcorn, drinks, snacks, etc… Just a fun concept!
After the movie, we ate at Babylon Cafe! Their chicken shawarma is legit! They have locations all over Vancouver!
Then we had to grab a ice cappe with a shot of hazelnut from Tim Hortons!
Then we shopped some more! haha After shopping, we went back to the hotel to rest for a bit. Then we went out on a eating spree for dinner! We got poutine from “Fritz”. They had extremely high ratings for poutine and it DID NOT DISAPPOINT! I absolutely love the hawaiian pizza at Mega Bits on Granville and Nelson! Their garlic ranch is CRACK to me. Then we got the nutella banana crepe from Cafe Crepe! They have Cafe Crepe’s all over downtown… JEALOUS!

Then we walked all over downtown… Then we found this girl with an incredibly soothing voice. So, we dropped some change and listen to her sing for a while.
I slept real great that night. We didn’t use the car on this trip after we arrived. We walked everywhere… which is really awesome. The next morning, we got up, checked out, and went to “Twisted Fork” for brunch! They had a line but we got there early enough to get seated when they opened. Their food was amazing! OH MANNNN. Stacey got the egg’s benedict with mediterranean chicken sausage. I got the spicy italian sausage and eggs meal. SO GOOOOOOD! The scones were OFFICIAL!!!!
1147 Granville St
Vancouver, BC V6Z 1M1, Canada
Then I hopped over to Cactus Club. I’ve watched Seahawks games there before so I knew they’d play it. Stacey shopped a little more while I watched the game. I drank the Granvile Island Pale Ale and when Stacey came to join me, she got the Bellini. They also had a great visual for guys in the bathroom… lol
Before leaving downtown, we dropped by a bakery for some macarons and croissant! We love bakeries lol
2156 W 41st Ave
Vancouver, BC V6M 1Z1, Canada
We went to Metrotown in Burnaby after we left downtown. Like I said before, Vancouver is a great place to shop for guys, especially. They just have a lot of stores with great style and it’s pretty awesome. I ended up copping a few pairs of socks, a flanel shirt, and of course the sneakers. I also bought a frame from cb2 for our spot. We also got to try Nando’s. Stacey was talking about this chicken place and it was real GOOOOD!
We also got a dipped bar from “Purdy’s”!!!! Dipped in both chocolate!
Then we walked over to the Superstore to get some Corn Pops! For some odd reason, Canada’s Corn Pops are different from ours… and it’s SUPER DELICIOUS!
Then we drove back home… and when we got to Stacey’s house, Stacey’s mom made some cassava cake with leche flan on top… AMAZING
Hope everyone had a great weekend! Have a great week, everyone!
Early last week, Eminem’s new album “MMLP2” leaked! Em is my second favorite rapper and I have so much respect for him as an artist. He’s just so graphic and detailed. His rhymes are out of this world. I like MMLP2 a lot! My favorite album of his since “The Eminem Show”. Great to see him mature as an artist as well.
Thursday, I didn’t have work. We close on Halloween. My job is revolved around kids and because most kids trick or treat on Halloween, we close on that day. So, I took the day to run errands for the Halloween Sleep Over that I’m hosting on Friday for the kids. This year, I decided to have a Halloween Sleep Over the students, the day after Halloween. So, for a few hours I ran errands. Buying food and etc… I also bought stuff for my costume. I built my costume from scratch… First time ever doing that… maybe the last time. LOL Since I’m a newbie on instagram and I love it a lot. I decided to be an “instagram picture”. I custom made a frame and cut out pieces to make it look like an instagram picture. I almost gave up half way cause it was so TEDIOUS! LOL At this point, I almost gave up… but I couldn’t….
So, I decided to take pics with the kids with my instagram picture… LOL Here’s one of them!
All their costumes were awesome! Some really amazing ones! I had a lot of fun with them. Here are some pictures of the night. We took a few hundred, so I’m being very lazy with the selection lol
By Saturday, I’m exhausted. I sleep an average of an hour to two hours during my sleep over with the kids. I have 30 kids and there’s usually someone going to the bathroom or something. But yeahhh, they enjoy it so it’s worth it. But I’m in much need for coffee the following day… LOL So, Stacey and I headed over to Bellevue to eat at “Earl’s”… I’ve never eaten there and the food was good! The lobster and prawn roll was good and their potato salad was AMAZING! Stacey’s sandwich was BOMB! Chicken, brie, apple, fig, and yam fries! DELICIOUS MEAL!
700 Bellevue Way NE #130
Bellevue, WA 98004
After our meal, we went over to Whole Foods for grocery shopping. Though, Stacey did it solo. I took a nap in the car. I was way too tired… And the nap was SPECTACULAR!!!! Afterwards, we grabbed some bubble tea from Boba T! Our favorite milk tea and tapioca… it’s freaking amazing…
Then we rested at my house. For dinner, Stacey found this Indian spot in Kent… AND MANNNNN! It’s about TIME! I’ve been searching for a good Indian spot in Kent… and we finally found one! And it’s SOOOO close to my house. Sucks, it took so long… but better late than never. We ordered our usual chicken tikka masala and veggie korma along with some naan! We ordered some shrimp masala to go for my mom and now she’s hooked… LOL DELICIOUS!!!!
13003 SE Kent Kangley Rd
Kent, Washington 98030
We ate some dessert… and it’s so hard to describe. It’s cheese deep fried or something with sugar…. Stacey loves trying new things. Not sure how I feel about it… lol
The next morning, Stacey cooked breakfast! Seahawks were finally playing on Sunday…. lol Turkey bacon, eggs, sour dough bread!
Then while I was watching the game, Stacey made some upside down strawberry cake! IT’S AMAZING!!!!! SO DELICIOUS! She’s incredible at baking desserts!
Then she made some taco pasta for dinner and our lunches throughout the week! Mexican and Italian fusion! LOL
Stacey bought me this drink and it’s DELICIOUS!
Next week’s blog will feature my trip to Vancouver, BC. Hope everyone had a great weekend! Have a great week, everyone!
Freaking late weekly blog!
I did a juice diet during the weekdays so I was on edge. Thursday night, I decided to have dinner. I was trying to drop 10 pounds for Saturday but I ended up only dropping 8. It’s cool… it’s all part of a bigger plan. I ended up grabbing fried rice from one of my favorite teriyaki spots by my house. DELICIOUS!
17051 SE 272nd St
Kent, WA 98042
Friday, I ran errands for work all day. Saturday was a big day for my work. We have two black belt tests a year and one of them landed on Saturday. The test went well! So proud of the students. They worked hard for 3+ years and it’s just a wonderful day for them, their familiar, and us, as well. After work, we went out to Korean BBQ with the Masters and volunteers. It’s crazy cause some of our students have never had it before. We have a lot of students that are White and I forget at times that they may have not tried things like this at a young age.
After the meal, I went home to rest for a bit before heading out to Stacey’s cousin’s birthday party. Filipino Family parties are legendary and I get to enjoy it by association. I’ve been going regularly for almost 5 years now. That’s crazy to me. Puts into perspective of what I’ve built in that time. With relationships, friendships, music, career, etc… I’m very happy but no where near satisfied. Stacey’s Aunt Emi makes some of the best food. Her fried chicken and Filipino Spaghetti is amazing beyond words. Pictures don’t give it justice…
Sunday, we got up and had lunch at Ivar’s! Ivar’s is a Seattle based Fish and Chips restaurant chain. I didn’t even know it was limited to here until one of my friend’s visiting from Cali told me they didn’t have it. It’s crazy what you don’t think about. But yeah… Fish and Chips, Clam Chowder, and Smoked Salmon Chowder!!!!

We watched some football and rested after. Then we went out to Cat Sang for dinner. We had banh mi, spring rolls, and mango and avocado smoothies!

This blog is extremely not detailed cause of my fatigue and my fatigue. lol Sorry. I love fall btw… my view from outside work.
Hope everyone had a great weekend! Have a great week, everyone!
I’ve been a rockstar since I was a kid!
Monday, I found out that last week’s blogged got featured in a Portland Foodie Website! I’ve been featured for music stuff but never blog related so I was excited! I put a lot into this. I take it very seriously and want to expand in the future! Need to put in my 10,000 hours! Check out the website! I was listed under “Leisure”
Tuesday was the 12 year anniversary of my grandmother’s passing. In Korean culture, we celebrate their life on the day of their passing with traditional food and rituals. It’s one of the most amazing things about Korean culture, to me. It’s a day to celebrate the life of a loved one. Can’t believe it’s been 12 years. My mom always makes the most amazing food for it.
The government was back on Thursday! Which means Stacey got to finally return to work! She was super excited! We decided to eat at “The Capital Grille” on Friday for lunch for some Lobster Rolls! I love Lobster Rolls! Stacey sent me this seafood festival video and I started craving it! hahahah The food is awesome! I got the clam chowder, Stacey got the bisque! And the bread it deliciousssssss!
The Capital Grille
1301 4th Ave
Seattle, WA 98101
Such a good meal! Afterwards, we walked around downtown cause I had time left on the meter. $4 an hour for street parking?! SMH! Stacey showed me this underground path and it was awesome! We saw this photo of John Nordstrom and his first shoe store! He’s the founder of Nordstrom and it’s crazy to see the humble beginnings of a huge company! Dream big and work hard!
Of course the Dessert Queen was looking for a fix, so we went to Lick PC! It’s been a minute since we’ve gone and it NEVER disappoints! Chef Michael is one of the nicest business owners! He was talking to us about some negative comments on yelp from annoying ppl. It’s rough for business owners cause ppl write about the dumbest things on the internet. Then there’s nothing you can do about it. But the place is so legit! A few stupid comments can’t stop them! I got the Lemon Creme and Stacey got Mexican Chocolate and Espresso Brownie! DELICIOUS!!!! YOU HAVE TO GO THERE IF YOU’VE NEVER BEEN THERE!
1424 E Pine St
Seattle, WA 98122
We stopped by Whole Foods afterwards to look for some beverages. There’s too many good things at Whole Foods! My favorite grocery store. I know Stacey will chuckle reading that. LOL We bought some delicious drinks!
We chilled at her spot, and watched Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy with her parents. Good times! Then for dinner, we bought some sushi from “Sushi Ring”. They got one of my favorite rolls! Basil Salmon Roll! DELICIOUS!!!! Stacey gets the Whibey Roll, which is also delicious!
11419 19th Ave SE B101
Everett, WA 98208
Also bought this fancy cola from Whole Foods… lol Had it with our sushi!
We watched Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives for a little bit afterwards. I had to leave early cause I had work on Saturday. And I had a concert to go to on Saturday so Stacey didn’t come over last weekend… LAME. But yeahhhhh, work went well. Though my wrist is super sore now. Eh… part of the job. After work, my folks and I went to Dae Young Palace for some jjajangmyun! LOL The food is too good there! Some Mapa Tofu, Mongolian Beef, and Mandu as well!

I got a 15 minute break after dinner to rest before heading out for the Kanye West / Kendrick Lamar concert! It was my first show with my best friend, Jason! I didn’t even know until we got there… hahaha Doors were supposed to open at 6:30 so, we arrived at 7:30 and NO ONE was inside. It looked like it was going to take a while. Then the homie, Geo from Blue Scholars, hits me up for a drink… so we walked over and grabbed some drinks. Then by the time we got back to the Key Arena, the line was moving. The ppl we were in line with spotted us and we cut with them! Shout out to the lovely couple! 2.5 hour delay… SMH! Kendrick Killed it though! I’ve never seen him live and it was dope! This was my third time seeing Kanye and he always kills it… but I realized that I really don’t know Yeezus… LOL And WHITE PPL DEF knew it…. hahahah Good times though!
Ye’s stage was crazy! One of the last classes that I took was Stage Building for Drama… it was an awesome class and I definitely have an appreciate for set builders!
Sunday, Stacey and I had reservations at “The Grill from Ipanema”… The Seahawks played on Thursday (and won!) so we had some time Sunday to go out. I was out of it from drinking the night before and this is what I come back to my room to…
Awwwwwwww! The food was too good and I was SO FULL!!!! If you a few bucks to spare, go try it!

She always looks at me funny… LOL OHHHHH! She brought me a Green Tea Lemonade by Huberts! SO GOOOOOOOOOOOD
Hope everyone had a great weekend! Have a great week, everyone!
I forgot to mention last week that my homegirl, Cilla Chan is on NBC’s “The Voice”!!!! Please support her! She’s such a sweet and talented girl! I got very lucky in working with her. Even more so, cause she found me to collab with. But anyways, please support her if you watch the show!!!!
Stacey came down Thursday night cause the government is shutdown and we were just going to have a chill Friday before we head out to Portland. We went to “Wild Wheat” for lunch on Friday! Wild Wheat is my favorite spot for brunch in Kent… but the’re lunch is so good as well! My folks gave me a bite of the burger and I was hooked! We ordered a burger and the dungeness crab linguine! The pasta was CRACK! DELICIOUS!!!!!
202 1st Ave S
Kent, WA 98032
I took like a 4 hour nap after that meal… LOL I was so tired from work and everything. I needed some rest before our mini-trip to Portland. For dinner, we ate at Cat Sang! Another one of my favorite spots in Kent. We both ordered the beef noodle soup. I digged the broth a lot. Shout out to Alan! You got me hooked bro!
20512 108th Ave SE
Kent, WA 98031
Then I packed! Now, I realized I haven’t taken a picture of my bag pack since I got it for my birthday. I think bag packs anywhere near $100 is ridiculous. And this particular bag pack was a bit more north of that price… LOL Stacey knew how much I wanted it and surprised me. I love it a lot! All black limited edition from Herschel! I love their bags a lot! I know guys are afraid to show their love of materials other than sneakers or something… but I love fashion in all forms. Stacey’s definitely an influence but I got my twist to it. I know it’s materialistic and there’s much more important things… blah blah blah. Trust me, the things that make me happy are not materialistic items. I just dig it and appreciate it.
I just realized my bag is next to her Louis bag. Yeahhhh, her bag is a little more expensive than mine… LOL I got 2 hours of sleep… Then it was off to Portland!
Now I haven’t been everywhere. But I have been to Seoul, Osaka, Vancouver, New York, Las Vegas, L.A., Paris, London, Rome, Venice, Amsterdam, SD, etc…. Portland can hold their own when it comes to food! They got some LEGIT spots… EVERY single spot that we visited had a wait. They don’t play! And I love visiting Portland and enjoying their culture.
One of my favorite restaurants (anywhere in the world) is “Screen Door”. I’ve previously blogged about them. We dropped by early to have brunch there. Their chicken and waffles are infamous. I ordered the fried oysters eggs benedict and we split both. The chicken is crack… obviously. Their waffles are made from sweet potato.. an interesting take but still delicious. Their hollandaise sauce in their benedict was very delicious. Overall, a very good spot for brunch! I think I prefer their dinner but their food is just great in general.

After our meal, we headed over to “Old Town” for the Saturday Market. Last time we were there, we saw this art piece that we wanted. But cause it was a bit steep, we had to think about it. And this time, I had my mind made up that if we see it, I’m going to get it. And what do you know….. It was there! It’s going to be for the spot we’re moving into next summer. :) I’ll blog it then when it’s hung up.
After the market, we headed over to a bar that my friend, John Lee found on the UW website. We wanted to watch the Oregon/UW game and he found a bar that had a lot of alumni going. The game didn’t turn out the way we wanted it to but I had so much fun with college buddies! John Lee, Miles Choi, James Phan… I miss all those crazy times! hahaha We got interviewed by a local Portland news and yeahhhh, I suck. LOL
After the game, we headed over to our hotel to check in. It was an awesome hotel! Wish we stayed longer… but that’s my bad lol It was actually by the Best Buy that we always visit when we go to Portland! Ironically, this was the first trip that we didn’t go to Best Buy… LOL
After checking in, we chilled for a bit and watched “Genie In a Bottle” like gangsters…
For dinner, we went to a popular Lebanese spot… Nicolas Restaurant! The wait was no joke… we were behind like 12 parties. So, we decided to take a walk around the area while we wait. We found this DOPEEEEE spot for male clothes. If I didn’t buy the art piece, I would have bought a bunch of things… LOL Next time, I’m definitely copping something! But yeahhhh, the food was Nicolas? WOW! I got the schwarma chicken and Stacey got Stephen’s beef dish. They were both amazing! The pita bread was the best though! It was delicious!!!!

After dinner, the Dessert Queen did her hw and we dropped by “Ruby Jewel”…. MAN!!! Their ice cream is LEGIT! I know the hype is around “Salt and Straw” but I don’t think it’s anywhere as a good. We got the maple pecan, chocolate hazelnut with marionberry, and a Oregon strawberry/lemon cookie ice cream sandwich… YUMMMMMMM

Then we went back to the hotel and watched TV. I came across “Masters of Sex” on showtime and I think it’s a dope show! The script and acting are terrific! I might follow it considering the show just started and it’s easier for me. I tend to get addicted to shows and I don’t start shows cause I don’t want to spend all my time catching up on a series… LOL
The next morning, we got up and headed out to “Blue Star Dougnuts”… The dougnuts were delicious! We went overboard and bought a dozen… The Dessert Queen knows what she wants and she wants too much lol I know AGAIN, the hype will be around Voodoo doughnuts. Been there and this spot is better. THOUGH, I really love the buttermilk doughnut from Voodoo, but it’s a basic doughnut that EVERYONE has lol

Afterwards, we went over to “Cafe Broder” for brunch! Now, I will take credit for this one because I found this spot on yelp… LOL Stacey loves finding places that have different things. This spot had Danish pancakes and we’ve never seen it before so we had to spot by! The wait was no joke!!! There were 17 parties ahead of us.. BUT, the food is AMAZING! Stacey got this called “lost eggs” and it was freaking goooooood! We split the Danish pancakes, also very good! I got the Swedish Meatballs. I’m a big fan of meatballs and it did not disappoint! SO GOOOOD!

After brunch, we headed over to “Punch Bowl” to watch the Seahawks game with more friends from college, Huy and Michael! Definitely feels like I’ve been catching up with ah lot of college friends lately… it’s awesome! Huy hit me up about the spot and it was good times! Seahawks won and they’re now 5-1.

After the game, we hopped over to “Powell’s Bookstore”. It’s one of the greatest spots to visit! In an era where Barnes and Nobles struggles to stay in business, it’s awesome to see a mom and pop bookstore strive and so well! It’s gigantic! We bought a few books, we try to buy a cook book each time we go!
After Powell’s, we grabbed dinner at “Le Bistro Montage”! They have my favorite jambalaya! Though, I’ve never been to New Orleans… and I really want to! LOL But yeah, I grabbed the crawfish and andouile sausage jambalaya! And they have most creative way to pack your leftovers! They make animal shapes from the foil! IT’s awesome!

What a great weekend! To have a mini getaway with my lovely gf. To see and catch up with friends. I count my blessings. Hope everyone had a great weekend! Have a great week, everyone!
A long and amazing week.
Wednesday, I picked up my Tux for my great friend, Derrick’s wedding. On the way back, I stopped by Best Buy and picked up the Diamond Edition of “The Little Mermaid”. I knew Stacey wanted it and I wanted to get it for her. So, we ended up watching it that night! :) Ariel is hot!
On Thursday, one of my students, Nick brought me a Passionfruit Kit Kat! He got me my first Green Tea Kit Kats too! He’s a very sweet teen and I was very appreciative for his kind gesture.
After work, Stacey, my sister, and I stopped by “El Sabor” for dinner. I was going to get tacos but I got so hungry that I ordered a burrito… HAHAHA El Sabor is ALWAYS too good!
Friday, I had work for the majority part of the day. Towards the end, I get a text from Jenny Suk. I met Jenny at a hotel party around 3 years ago. I didn’t really get to know her til we started talking on aim… LOL Aim actually helped my relationship with a few youtubers… hahaha Anyways, she hit me up cause she was in town for a show. So, after work, I dropped by her hotel to chill with her and the homies, Alan Letran, Brian Franada, Lil Crazed, and newly homie Benji. It was a chill time. I had to leave early cause I had work the next morning. They gave me a hard time… but whatever. hahaha Got a lot of love for the homie, Jenny.
Saturday, I had work til 3. After work, I headed up north to Stacey’s house. I dropped off my car at her house and my buddy, James picked me up for Derrick’s Wedding festivities. We dropped by Safeway and picked up essentials… a few bottles of hard alcohol, 2 cases of beer, and 4 champagne bottles. Then we headed over to the Bellevue Hyatt! We rented a suite and it was SUPER DOPE! We invited friends over that’s attending the wedding. We watched the Huskies game. ugh… I don’t want to talk about it. But screw the refs! Had some emotional words. Then headed over to Lucky Strike, kicked it with a bacherlorette party… LOL GOOD TIMES!
I got like 2 hours of sleep cause James snores so loud! LOL
Now let me write a few words about my friend, Derrick. I’ve known Derrick for a little over 6 years. We met in college. He used to come over to the apt that I used to live in. We started carpooling together and hooping regularly at the IMA as well. Then we started recording songs at the same time. It was in that process that I knew we had a different relationship. We had a lot of similar interests even in being so different in personality. He was there for me through some rough times. He’s the only friend that I both lived and worked with. Bartending with him and learning from him was and is some of the best times that I’ve had. I can’t repay him for being a good friend. But I can be there for him when he needs me. We don’t see eachother everyday like we once did, but it’s okay. We’ve built that relationship where we no longer need to see eachother all the time. But it’s always awesome when we hang out though. I love this guy and I wish all the happiness available in this world for him and his wife Ashley.
Derrick gave all the groomsmen gifts before the wedding. In this bag was a Nixon watch, chocolate caramel popcorn, and some altoids! Dopeness! Thank you Derrick and Ashley for the gifts. I’m not much of a gift person (It’s something I’m working on) but it’s much appreciated!
We spent a long time taking photos, so I had to take a selfie with the groom and the groomsmen!
Then my beautiful date joined me at the wedding! She makes me so happy :)
Then it was the ceremony! I couldn’t take photos cause I was standing up there with them. But hopefully, I can dig up some pictures from someone else! lol And then the reception! The food, champagne, and cake were all delicious!
A nice photo of their first dance!
So…… at the end of the wedding. The groom and bride both throw something. I don’t even know what the guy is throwing. I know the girl is throwing the flowers. Apparently, I’m the only one who didn’t know what it meant to catch it. LOL I knew what it meant when the girl catches it. But anyways… I’m competitive and I had a bit to drink… and this was the outcome.
LOL Hope everyone had a great weekend! Have a great week, everyone!
What a crazy week. Work was busy as always. I got to see A LOT of friends. I didn’t plan it this way but I’m glad for it.
On Tuesday, I went over to the homie, Alan’s apt after work. He texted me a few days earlier about wanting to talk and I’m glad he hit me up. It was a great conversation about life. And it’s crazy the journey we go through. Great dude forreals. Follow this guy if you aren’t. @ant_206
Wednesday, I had dinner and drinks with Jason after work. We went to a spot in Newcastle called “Tapatio”. It was a dope Mexican joint. They got that typical Mexican-American food but it was very good. They got some big drinks too… hahaha I got a burrito and their grande Dos Esquis… LOL We went over to his apt and drank some beer and soju. It was good times. I wanted to talk to him about this Kanye West/Kendrick Lamar concert we’ll be going to in a few weeks. Real excited about that too! Follow Jason @dontgojasonwtf

On Thursday, I met up with a good friend from college after work. We’re both groomsmen for a wedding in the upcoming week and we wanted to go over some details together. Definitely one of good ppl I’ve met in this world. He’s a very passionate and support guy. Love him a lot. I’ll be seeing him next weekend too, so I’m excited. James doesn’t have social media like that so you can’t follow him… lol But yeah, we met up in Bellevue at “Rock Bottom”. The white ale beer there is LEGIT! Love it! I got a pizza and it’s pretty good!

Afterwards, I headed over to UW and hung out with some friends. Drank a little more and it was an emotional night for some. hahaha Not going to air out other ppl’s details! But it was good seeing everyone!
Also had a heart to heart talk with the homie Eunyce on my drive home. She’s a dope person… follow her @eunycekim
Friday, I picked up Stacey and we headed over to U:Don… I know, we’ve been there so many times. But I really love it. And I needed that broth that day from drinking the night before… hahaha

We hopped over to Stacey’s house afterwards. Her parents got me some chocolate from Austria and Germany! Thoughtful and delicious!!!
Saturday, we had lunch planned with some friends. They’re getting married next week and I wanted to meet with them so I know some of the details. We met up at “Stone Korean Restaurant” in Remond. The food was good. A little pricey. I forgot to take pictures… FAIL! So, look it up! :P
Afterwards, we shopped around Bellevue Square. Everytime, I see a big mirror, I want to snap a picture now… well now that my camera is better! LOL
The sweater and shoes I’m rocking are from the 3.1 Phillip Lim for Target. I like both a lot! The shoes are real dope!
We also got some gelato from D’Ambrosio in Bellevue Square! They got legit gelato! I got the Peanut Butter Cups and Nutella flavors!
Afterwards, we went grocery shopping at Whole Foods. We also grabbed some food for dinner as well. We got a rotisserie chicken, mac and cheese, and mac salad! BOMBBBBB!
And of course, the dessert queen had to buy desserts… LOL Some gelato and raspberry white chocolate mochi ice cream!!!
Huskies won… so I was happy! LOL
Sunday! The Seahawks played… and OH MAN! What a game… we came back to take that gameeeeee! So proud of them. Such an exciting team to watch! Stacey made some breakfast to eat during the game. :) Turkey Bacon, Eggs, and Whole Wheat English Muffins!
We also copped this tangerine juice from Whole Foods… it was REAL good!
This week reminded me of how blessed I truly am. Hearing the stories of my friends and they range from relationships to family to careers and everything else. I support y’all. I’m so tired after work. I realized that seeing these ppl and wanting to help showed me how much I care about them. Times may be rough but it gets better. I instagramed a picture of me and Stacey’s shoes. We’re big on footwear. The Cement 3’s are probably my favorite sneakers of all time. And the Jimmy Choo’s that she’s wearing is the first designer shoe that I bought for her. So the picture means a lot to me. “I’m just a J to her Jimmy Choo’s”.
Hope everyone had a great weekend! Have a great week, everyone!
